centered, service-justice model.

This workshop will connect all the pieces to identify novel sources and interdisciplinary approaches which aggressively address the longstanding impacts of structural racism by promoting the individual  right to life with dignity, freedom, and self-determination to grow and develop – for the ultimate creation of the Beloved Community . . . a real mechanism in which the citizens of Jackson’s 2nd Ward can live, learn, work, play, participate and exist.  Participants will understand that this final component is action-based and is supported by service initiatives to address the leading concerns in communities and motivate the people to get engaged.
